Rishad Manekia set up Kairos Capital in 2016, and holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Finance from Boston University. Having previously worked with UBS Wealth Management Americas in Boston and Standard Chartered Bank as an Investment Advisor in India, Rishad set up Kairos Capital with the aim of simplifying investing for his clients.
Rishad registered Kairos Capital with SEBI as an Investment Advisor in 2016, when he was certain that the future of financial advice lay in the hands of Registered Investment Advisors who would offer advice in the best interest of their clients. A 2016 SEBI consultation paper stated that Investment Advisors could charge fees for advice but could not be able to take commission from the manufacturer for advice.
Rishad believes in maintaining transparency in his services, which is why he does not entertain any incentive-based sales and keeps the interest of his clients as the primary focus. Rishad aims to positively impact people’s lives for the better, and make them financially secure for the future.
A philanthropist passionate about giving back to the community, Rishad continues to volunteer for money management projects for the economically weaker sections of society and dedicates time to help develop the community of registered investment advisors.
